Thermal insulation for industrial processes is designed for maintenance teams and managers, production teams and managers, and CSR teams and managers.

Prerequisites
To ensure the learning process runs smoothly, it is necessary for the beneficiaries of this training to have a certain number of prerequisites:

• Have a laptop available on the day of the session
• Know how to use software such as Word, Excel or other tools with the same main functions

Learning objectives

At the end of the training, your team members will be able to:

• Identify the physical quantities that control heat loss (temperature difference, thickness, thermal conductivity)
• Identify the right insulation for an application (taking into account cost/performance/technical constraints)
• Evaluate an order of magnitude of proven energy losses (introduction to loss calculation, in kWh, € and tons of CO₂e)
• Use the concept of energy classes (introduction to EN 17956:2024 Energy efficiency classes for technical insulation systems)
• Calculate an estimated return on investment for insulation work leading to a given energy class
